Do you take insurance?
Technically, no! We are out-of-network Physical Therapists who provide 1-on-1 care for an hour. We do accept HSA and FSA cards and can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement, if you have out-of-network benefits. We are unable to provide superbills for Medicare patients.
How do I find out if I can get reimbursed through insurance?
Call the back of your insurance card and ask if you have any “out-of-network benefits,” If you do, we can provide the superbill for you to submit to your insurance. We are unable to provide superbills for Medicare patients.
Why don’t you take insurance?
So that we can provide 1-on-1 care with you for an hour
So that we can treat multiple body parts in 1 session
So that we can tailor treatments to what works, instead of what is covered by insurance companies
We are direct access and therefore, you can see us without a referral from your doctor
So that we can treat chronic conditions and provide maintenance care, often denied by insurance companies
We are transparent with our pricing, and therefore you will not have to worry about unclear deductibles or co-insurance costs.
Do you have to do an initial evaluation first?
We strongly recommend an initial evaluation first, so that we can do a thorough evaluation of the treatment area to determine the best course of treatment. This allows follow-up visits to be more efficient and effective.
What can I expect during an initial evaluation?
You can expect a thorough evaluation of the treatment area and a diagnosis as well as a treatment plan. The initial evaluation will include treatment that day
What ages do you treat?
We treat anyone from age 3 and up!
What is Dry Needling?
Dry needling is a clinical treatment that utilizes a very small diameter needle placed into painful soft tissue (muscles, tendons, capsules, ligaments, etc). The placement of the needle is based on the patient’s unique evaluation findings to directly address each patient’s pain and dysfunction. The small needle used in dry needling varies in length depending on where in the body the needle is placed- safety is always the main focus of treatment.
How can dry needling help you?
There are many benefits of dry needling because it manages soft tissue inflammation and positively influences the function of your nervous system. Some of the benefits you will experience with dry needling treatment:
Improve blood flow
Release of tension in muscles
Decrease pain
Increase in range of motion
Increase in muscle strength
Improved daily function
Is dry needling the same as acupuncture?
No! Acupuncture uses eastern medicine principles like meridans and qi that were developed thousands of years ago to treat physical, mental and emotional pathologies.
Dry Needling utilizes the western medicine principles like neurology, physiology, and anatomy to treat neuro-physiological pathologies like decreased mobility, strength, function and pain. While Acupuncture and dry needling may utilize the same monofilament needle, their ideology and treatment approach is significantly different
